are all hooks coded in c++? why is that? is c++ close to uscript?
i am a beginner, i would like to try and code a bit in uscript
i know a bit of Delphi and vb(script) but i dont think its very usefull..

Its because C++ provides alot of functionality and is a lot more efficient then languages likes visual basic.

Ok, so it's possible to so stuff with Delphi too, that's good to know... Always start breaking stuff when I have to learn new syntax
So that means the language is not really important when coding stuff like hooks? Might as well try to start with c# then, was planning to anyway...
Guess I'll start fooling around with some uscript-tutorials first, thx

Core.lib and Engine.lib are set on linker input, and includes too.
I'm using VC++ 2005 Express edition with reference to Plattform SDK.

hi im wondering if u need any seperate programs for scripting? im brand new to this script stuff (yes thats right fresh meat) and wondering if u guys could help me in my progress. it looks interesting and i wanna learn it like u guys have. ive read some tutorials but i dnt think my brain can quite top the noch. so jus wondering if u guys cud help me out urselvs?
im new to all code/script writing making w.e

If you want to do hooks you need to learn c++.
Then see the code of some, (like this one) and try to do your own.
