it would be nice to see a irc channel if people wanted to talk to each other or wanted support if they might have difficulty with a bot or some kind of hack

I think is a good ideia, but I am not good with irc. If you want to make one do it. 

to do this i will need to have some privaleges to put the IRC into the site

I can do that, I was talking in put the channel online and administer it. ^^ Put it online and I will put here in the site.
