i've taken over the coding for Risc and i don't think this version is in use any more because it had a line which could crash the server remotely. the hardware ID version can be bytehacked too if anyone had the time.

I think I am the only person who has succesfuly faked the RiSC HWID

install new version of ut in diff folder to get around the normal ban .

change computer name for other one.

HWID was not computed by computername when I last looked at it

was it just a simple fake mutate command sent by a mutate hooker or other ways, how did you do this please, reminds me of the guys on judge judy who mysteriously lose the evidence

what method did you use, would you have a go at bypassing it when it includes an MD5 check done by utdc/anthchecker/qvalidate, praytell?

as for me, and risc, i am waiting to see what this new anticheat and the new EUT have to offer, when you consider all the people on new windows, linux and mac that cant connect to servers that try and run DLL files

it is still a good back up to install on a server when some pest is connecting from ip after ip and after countless hostname and range bans they would get tired of trying once risc and an md5 checker are put on

hi, ive decided against releasing the risc dll publicly, instead im going to provide a private release to members of this website. im sick of the lamers who are quick to ban peoples IP address and would hate for this to fall into the hands of those people

also i will release the console i wrote a few years ago for ut99, it is blocked by standard server installs of PURE, but writing it taught me alot of what i know today about UScript/Java and i think others can best learn by it (think client-side mutators that work on 'standard' servers)

im also going to devote some time to helping people not get banned from MPUK, although i admit i dont play there, i have noticed they have a similar ID ban that works something like this:

server's anti-cheat working similar to EUT with no DLL files scans for hooks, timers, and anything considered an illegal cheat/tweak

if found, adds to a database of bans: nickname, ip address, and the mods listed above

it can then track an unlimited amount of bans instead of just the standard 255

Don't have to hack their file or change Hardware, do a search on this forum and you'll have a clue of who I actually am
